With the weather here in Toronto FINALLY hitting the 20’s it’s officially ice cream season. There are dozens of stores around the city so we’ve narrowed it down to our top picks.

Here are five ice cream shops you NEED to try this summer.

When it comes to ice cream sandwiches – Bang Bang is the place to go. Cookies made fresh paired with an awesome range of ice cream flavours mixed and matched to make the perfect combination.

This hidden gem has AMAZING ice cream as well as extravagant toppings and cones (we suggest getting one in a waffle cone with cotton candy on top). Definitely one of Toronto’s best.

The Big Chill

Milkshakes, Belgian Waffles, Sundaes, YES PLEASE. This retro themed ice cream parlour has tons of traditional options plus some new spins on the classics.

Sweet Olenka’s

For the last ten years this family run ice cream and dessert shop has been serving up HAND MADE ice cream from scratch. With tons of options there’s something for everyone (and bonus there are vegan options too!)

Eva’s Original Chimneys

???? . L: Peanut Butter Pretzel Parfait (Bloor St only) R: Dream Cone (both locations). . ?@nabeela0797 #ogchimneys

What started out as one of Toronto’s favourite food trucks is now a storefront! Located in The Annex Eva’s Original Chimneys are pastry cones filled with soft serve (like a donut but better).
