Happy Place has touched down in Toronto, and this vibrant pop-up has been all over social media.

The reviews have been a bit rough, so we visited it firsthand to see whether this insta-worthy spot is worth the hype.

Right off the bat, the two biggest pieces of criticisms were the lines, and the ticket prices.

  • Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: $32.50 incl HST
  • Friday/Saturday/Sunday: $39.50 incl HST

Tickets seem a bit pricey when comparing them to other activities like cineplex or the ROM, but considering the pop-up is only open for a limited window, and similar pop-ups such as Museum of Ice Cream costs approx $38, we think it’s worth the money.

Kids under 4 are free, which is an added bonus.

So as you enter rooms, you can’t actually backtrack – so make sure you’re ready to leave before you move on.

We went on a Wednesday at 3:00PM, and lines were non-existent. Around 3:30 it got a little bit busy, but there’s definitely enough content in each room to be entertained while you wait.

Happy Place is set up for Instagram – there are multiple angles that you can experience (and photograph) each room in.

Our highlight was definitely the confetti dome – let us know what you think! We give Happy Place a 10/10.
